No TV or Internet - how do you survive?! ;-) I've just seen that Sufjan's doing a show in April next year with some other folk. Sold out - ggrrrr.

Oh crikey - I've just seen Keane in your recently listened to list. That's not good. I'll try to pretend I didn't see it..

My post's seem to have a running theme now....but if you're not watching Jools....you should! It's the best of 2011 and there have been some awesome people on.

My powers have been restored - this is a gem: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Negro-Prison-Blues-And-Songs/dp/B001L89KV0/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316966888&sr=301-1. P.S. Who's your friend? Looks like Woody Allen.

I'm on a mission to find an album of chain gang songs/field hollers. It's proving difficult - my Librarian powers are week today. Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G5KtQynWvc. Brilliant. CD Universe have suggested that if I buy Josh White's 'Chain Gang Songs', I might like Rick Astley - of course.

That's some extreme language going on below - not sure I can compete with that. Anyway, I reckon even Jason Molina can't keep up with himself. Had a conversation with my brother-in-law earlier about Son House - he thought I was playing Robert Johnson. Textbook error. Their voices are completely different. I shall endeavour to listen to some more Real Estate. Did you listen to Grouper? You hate it, don't you?

Just listened to 'Beach Comber' - nice track. Reminds me of quite a few other bands but that's not a bad thing. I see they have a new album out soon....might be worth a listen.
