You're not the only one :), I so love the sound the game makes when you get stars increasing your affinity chart level :P.The soundtrack is pretty awesome as well.I'm glad you're liking it, addicting game, isn't it?

No problem :) and yes,I love everything about that film from the cinematography and acting to the meticulously put together soundtrack. One of the few film soundtracks to have some shoegaze for a change.

Anyway, how're you doing yourself? have you switched to part time these days?I remember you telling me you were going to,is that why you have more free time on your hand for gaming?

I got used to playing it with the wiimote and nunchuck, I'll have to admit that was quite weird at first though.Yes,the locations are so well designed, beautiful and feel so grand and limitless, specially further into the game. The quests system here is what I find really smart, unlike in some other RPGs the game keeps you interested in going through the what might seem as tedious side quests by incorporating the affinity chart which makes you more invested in these quests and gives more depth to the inhabitants of the world .I really like this concept. I'm planning on buying both games (I really intend to buy Xenoblade now) when I get to Qatar (I'll be there around the 20th or so of this month).I'm pretty sure 40 hrs is what you'll do if you neglected a lot of the side quests and backtracking because I heard these's a lot of these in XII-2.

My sister's wedding was in Sydney, on the 18th of december :) I like blocky graphics sometimes :D I have no problem in playing the first Silent Hill or Tomb Raider for example... they look good to me. Yeah I bought my sunglasses from a store, I was passing by and it just looked at me, then I had to buy it lol :)

That's it, I'm playing Chrono cross just as soon as I finish Xenoblade.I've been putting it off for a long while. But I'm glad I still have a number of these old gems I didn't finish yet because it seems that we aren't going to see that many great RPGs in the near future (specially Japanese turn-based ones).I don't actually get to travel that often, that time was one of the few exceptions and it's not even another country :P. But, I'm happy to be leaving Egypt in a month or so after I'm done with all the paper work necessary. Well, it's pretty sad to see some of these Japanese companies not doing good because of how the gaming market is doing. But, I admire companies like Atlus who still make their Japanese style games while intelligently marketing their products.Yes, I agree, the SH series have gone to hell.Have heard about the joke that is "the book of memories" or whatever they call it.Insulting!!

I hope that XIII-2 fixes that, but yeah I agree Square Enix is not doing as good as Square did and I'm not just saying that to "appear hardcore" like some do.I really liked XIII, but is it as good as VIII,VII or VI, I don't think so.Take Parasite Eve 3 for example, What the hell was that??I was excited for a while there, but my excitement gradually depleted with each new piece of info about the game until it was released and I was sure that Square Enix knew nothing about what they were doing.

Chrono Cross! Great.I've been planning on playing that game for a long time, how was it? I've heard it was a worthy sequel to Chrono Trigger.Xenoblade is really addictive and it strikes a good balance between linearity and the open-world feel.Plus it let's you save anywhere which makes it easier to manage gameplay hours. I've actually went on a trip to Alexandria (a coastal city in Egypt) with a friend these past 2 days that's why I haven't been able to reply to you right away.I've never been there before so, it was nice. Yes, that's a picture of an older Hope.I'm a sucker for returning cast in sequels to be honest, plus I thought hope was the most interesting character in XIII.I still thought that XIII was lacking when it came to character development and plot, But I really liked it nevertheless.

About Me

"That's right -- I was one of them kids. And I always felt bad about that -- the way you was treated. How nobody stopped you, nobody thanked you -- instead the ignorant bastards ran you right out of our town. So it's true, isn't it, what they say about you dhampirs. You don't age. Now go -- I'm getting tired." Polk, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000)

We didn't need a story, we didn't need a real world
We just had to keep walking
And we became the stories, we became the places
We were the lights, the deserts, the faraway worlds
We were you before you even existed
