hello, thanks for stopping by :) ambient is not just one type. there are many sub-genres (or genres that come close to it), so it really depends on, which you prefer. if you like more foresty/organic sounds, you may check out carbon based lifeforms, solar fields and other ultimae releases (ultimae is an ambient label that releases that kind of ambient). if you like spacey sounds, you have to check out my fave palancar, spyra, namlook. if you like it more minimalistic, try biosphere (he is also spacey, depending on the track). if you wanna know more or want more artists recommendations, let me know :) be blessed!

Mostly good here. Still searching on the Job Front. Things seem to be opening up a bit here so hopeful something will break soon. :)

Now, that names sounds familiar, but I'm not sure I've listened to her before. Might have to check her out at some point.

I do like some of her work. I haven't listened to her nearly as much as I should I'm sure, but she is a good one no doubt. :)

Yeah, Miller did. And you spelled it right. :) My mom listened to him sometimes, so I definitely know of his funny songs. The video is beautiful and heartbreaking. And Cash could definitely get it done. Good night!

He gets the job done very well. And I also prefer his version of Me and Bobby McGee. Then again I prefer his version of most of his songs. Cash comes the closest, but I love Johnny Cash. :) Definitely know what you mean. I feel the same way sometimes.

Most great songwriters are better at that craft than singing. At least when it comes to the technical side of singing. But I would rather hear Kristofferson sing than most. His voice is chock full of honesty and emotion.

About Me

I am a father, a grandfather, a husband, and an engineer. I am also a follower of Jesus, a motorcycle rider, an occasional musician, a photographer, and a writer of journals and weblog essays. I've been a pump jockey, an auto-service technician, a musician, a worship-team leader, a teacher of young civil engineers, a photographer, and an employee of the U.S. Federal government. Now I work as a consultant in western Nevada. I once rode my BMW motorcycle from Lubbock, Texas, to Clemson University for a technical meeting. That was a trip.
