Music has always been a major driving force behind the relationships in my life and a solid bridge between myself & the world.

I was born into a family who's encouragement to express myself creatively and musically, has brought such humility and respect. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of my father, who was, and still is, an avid record collector, who loves music and has a wealth of knowledge about it's origin. Every other Friday, he would walk through the door carrying no less than 3 or 4 albums, freshly wrapped in plastic, from the local record store.

From Bob Marley to INXS, you name it, we had it. I still to this day remember the first red vinyl I ever laid my eyes on. It was a crisp looking copy of Bob Marley's Exodus and inside was a sexy, delicate, transparent red vinyl record. The scent of that new record, when dad unsealed it, is what I think of every time I play.

Music, as we know, has always been the perfect unifier. It brings people from all walks of life together to share a common interest. Many times we entertained friends, after a hard day's work, listening to bands like Earth, Wind and Fire or Billie Joel banging away on his piano, til wee hours in the morning. But, while these memories left an indelible impression on a young mind, it also didn't hurt having a couple of professional Disc Jockeys, living in my neighborhood, who both possessed a great sense for music and made worthy ambassadors for the Dj profession.

I enjoy Djing very much. It fills me with jubilation and provides an interconnection with crowds of people I have never met before. It' is a wonderful responsibility to have. Djing has also, taken me throughout the world and in the process, exposed me to various cultures and so many amazingly talented DJ's, who have never hesitated sharing their knowledge with me. Music is something I cannot live without: every day I rediscover my appreciation for this remarkable form of expression, especially for its capacity to introduce us to new horizons.

From House to Rock, Hip Hop to Reggae, I get a kick out of every minute I play at my venues. I am always delighted to see people equally, having as much fun as I do, creating the atmosphere.
