New releases: Sun Of The Blind: Skullreader. Ambient/shoegaze/Atmospheric black metal.Probaly my favorite metal record of 2009. Panopticon-Collapse. Amazing US.B.M. Pantheon I- Worlds I Create, epic cello driven melodic black metal. Jonas Renske of Katatonia sings on Ascending. Older: Grand Belial's Key-Judeobeast Assassin, Bolt Thrower IV Crusade, Forest- A Blaze Above Ashes. Elite NS, Blazebirth Hall. Black Forest/Black Sea. Self titled. Amazing free folk/post rock. Get that for sure.

About Me

I write for The Metal Observer, but you find a lot of my reviews on RYM and Sputnikmusic respectively as well:

Disclaimer: My charts are a pretty shite representation of my taste, I don't know why, half of the bands in my top 20 I don't even enjoy anymore...
