Hi, thanks for your message, I'm glad you like Shpongle so much :) Yes, indeed , something's going out there and we can't name it, i mean - how come Shpongle doesn't even try to sound serious yet from time to time they just paralyze you with awe and let your mind just wander, definitely a sort of an inside journey :) The tunes (and the little tunes inside the big ones) so easily evoke emotions and images into your imagination, something I did never hear in any electronic music before. There's this intense feeling of "something happening" :) As you, i can't really listen while working or learning, because in just a few minutes i wanna just forget about the world and go dancing in my imagination (even better just jump around the room:) )and singing along with the notes. However, i found out that Hallucinogen's music (Simon Posford's previous work) can really keep me up at night doing ordinary boring tasks with a smile on my face:) I especially like The Lone Deranger. Cheers :)

oh, by the way, violet indiana are very much up there in my valhalla, and so is lemongrass, gee i wish lemon jelly were listenable on last.fm.... check rhapsody.com for lemon jelly and let me know in case you like them (they are much more psychedelic than all the ones i mentioned.... also check explosions in the sky and dEUS, explosions are psychedelic, dEUS are eclectic, like you, i suppose....p.s. maybe more eklektik than eclectic.... if you like psychedelic, check out gong, especially on rhapsody.com, they sure have almost all of their stuff, then again, gong is neither electronic nor truly lo-fi, or acoustic, for that matter....p.s. i know, too much information, talking too much, butthankgodnotbipolar, justborderlineschizophrenic....justdontmindmetoomuch...tata

Lol, I kind of had to the day I went out and back-ordered every album that I could remember off the top of my head. I just love the sound of his music so much, no matter where or when I am that day. ^_^

About Me

I'm into just about any music that you can throw at me. Name something and I'll give it a shot; if I like it then it will wind up on my apparently forever-expanding library. I blog religiously, and have an opinion that I'm not afraid of sharing.
