If you're not familiar with Caroline Keating - I heartily recommend her.

Whilst that Matthew Robert Cooper album definitely has charm - it's no Eluvium. Maybe I'll give it another couple of listens.

thanks, you have good taste too. i don't know there are a few people on that board that actually do communicate with me at that level, they just aren't responding right now. i figure as long as someone reads it. it doesn't really matter haha, i just need an outlet for my frustrations sometimes.

eebs, sorry haven't checked last.fm for ages. Haha where did lolchair come from?! I had a lolbeese when i saw it, funny stuff... I'll have to check out the new music, been away and working quite a bit so not much new stuff been listened to. Going to play some stuf to my classes next week as an end of term lesson, so need to collect some extreme tracks to traumatise them with; pig destroyer, anal cunt et al. happy new year!, another year older and more cleverer! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

don't worry about the crb, there are three levels of checks and you'll only get first or second level. As I undersatnd it, even official cautions won't come up unless they're directly relevant, nevermind that little chat down the police station. Sound like a dream though. The main things that they were looking for from my interview were sticking power (they get a fair few people dropping out), professionalism (sounding like you're not just going to show the kids films every lesson) and ability to entertain yourself/make friends/get involved in stuff outside of school (apprently the people who do this are less likely to drop out). Eee dreams, let me know how you get on.

awesome, that sounds great. Yeah, there's a shed load of paperwork to go along with these things. At least you won't have to swear allegiance to the CCP and promise to 'uphold the moral sensibilities of the chinese people' like I did... Give them Guardian QCs for a year, that'll sort them out. Hope it all goes well, have you done all the assessment and interview-type things now? So it's definitely happening? Korea sounds like a wicked place, fucking mental language though. Obviously if I can be of any help at some point let me know. I feel like a bit of an old hand and can point you in the direction of resources, tips on dealing with asians etc. Also, I was listening to some random song that one of my students recommended by a band called Club 8 and quite enjoying it... looked at the tags for it on here... one of them was 'twee'. NIGHTMARE.

:D I was a b3ta type fellow, which is where I got your profile. I'm brand new to this last.fm lark, so my library is pretty empty right now, unlike my physical music library (which I need to stop adding too). Upon a quick browse of your charts I see we've quite a bit in common. If I may, I'd like to suggest some of my current favourites that I don't see mingling among your top artists: Jesse Sykes, Raccoo-oo-oon, and Liars. Quite popular stuff, but on the off chance of it being new to you, I'd recommend a listen. Take care.
