You're getting married? I'm sorry ;) TX is alright.. dodging the police constantly (warrants) and I can't find a job. Other than that.. I've been dating a wonderful girl since a few months after moving here (so almost two years), have been selling pot to make ends meet, listening to music. I've almost started up a new bog a couple times... never did it.

Besides my mom, who is a big MJ fan, I only have two friends that are going to see the movie with me...the others pretty much hate for the child abuse charges...so yeah

Music isn't quite my life, but it's the most persistent part of it. While friends turn to enemies, and hearts and promises get broken, music only asks for you to let it in your world and decide for yourself whether it is worthy of your time. It's strange how such a small thing as a bass line, or a simple melody have enough emotion to ignite a crowd or a person's soul. The only thing stranger is how one song can mean one thing to me, and a million other things to you.

My musical tastebuds are warped. I'll listen to legends like Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones one moment before listening to artists who are essentially destroying music at it's foundation the next. I find comfort in knowing that ten years from now the "hits" of today will be forgotten and it'll be up to a new generation to begin the healing process and make music for the soul again, and not for ringtones.
