The players work well I have not tried the radio yet so I don't know how well it works ,but the player is very good And I guarantee once you get used to navigating that site ,it will keep you busy for a very long time. They also have playlists that people publish for anyone to use. The way they work is by pasting a URL on a wall .When you want to play it just press the play button then close your tab ,It still works and will follow you wherever you care to go. I wish LFM worked like that . But between the Grooveshark and Last.FM database tied to the Google Chrome player being all on demand and the huge amount of artists to discover on Jamendo I have more music than I can listen to. I hope this helps.

The player will scrobble and it will play ANYTHING that is in the LFM and Grooveshark libraries. Not everything will play ,because it is in niether library ,But trust me ,it is a whole lot more music than just the Last.FM libray and all the music is on demand, and it's all free. If you want more details ,or the extension address give me a shout I'll answer the best that I can. You mentioned that you like to listen to a large chunk of bands that you haven't heard before. How about all of them ? Jamendo Is (for the time being ) a very good site. Something on the order of 35,000 artists trying to make a name for themselves ,Better quality zipfile downloads of singles,EP's and whole LP's all free . A Playlist that can be posted on your LFM wall if you choose ( I have several hotlinked to some car pictures)
