    i just listened to a few songs by Bibio and i'm so confused hahah each album is so different. it doesn't even sound like it's made by the same person. i really dig the Ambivalence Avenue album but not so much Mind Bokeh. Mind Boken is too poppy and tweeny.

    i'm likin this deep dark woods band you're listening to. the name is a lil cliche though. i feel like i haven't listened to folk music in so long because of all the weeknd music i've been listening to. i just can't stop. it's like a drug. you should start listening to the weeknd haha

    Oh yeah that new Sufjan album is fantastic -- it was not at all what I was expecting, but he absolutely pulled it off. I'll check out that new Wilco album -- the only album I've really gotten into of theirs is Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but I've been meaning to be more thorough with them. I liked We Were Promised Jetpacks' first album -- hopefully their new one is on spotify soon... As for Tallest Man songs, the hardest part for me is switching tunings between each song, haha. Oh and I see you've been listening to the latest Titus Andronicus album -- that thing is awesome! I must have gone through a solid week or two just listening to that on repeat. I really hope I get a chance to see them live. That album, along with Jonsi and Local Natives pretty much defined my summer listening.

    Hey man -- it's been a while. Side note: you should check out Spotify as a music service if you haven't already. I just realized I can scrobble to last.fm with it, so maybe I'll be a little more active on here now, haha. Anyway, in terms of new music, I'd recommend checking out the new Pains of Being Pure at Heart album. It might be a little more pop-ier than you prefer, but I've been really enjoying it lately. The new Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver albums are awesome too, but I'm sure you already know that. Also, I've been in a really big Tallest Man on Earth phase lately -- been learning how to play his stuff on guitar. That man is a genius.
