About Me

I’m a French-speaking woman
Looking for a meaning to her life
Who’s addicted to melancholy
(probably)
And laughing
(certainly)
Elitist, but tryin’ to quit
(or am I?)
Eclectic in my tastes
Now with a fresh scent of citrus & light
---------------------------------
Fine, I admit I have a soft spot for Metal (as you can see)... It's true that I've been mostly listening to this genre since 2001 or so, but I *do* listen to other types of music as well, like Janis' Blues, The Sabri Brothers' sufi music, Vivica Genaux's mezzo-soprano voice, etc. I'd describle my tastes as eclectic, overall.
In the beginning, I was very much into power/symphonic, Rhapsody & (old) Nightwish being my top favorite bands. But for the past 2-3 years, I've been more and more interested in discovering new black/pagan/doom metal acts than any other sub-genre.
---------------------------------
And FYI, I usually don't add people I haven't talked to in some way. Why add users to your friends list if you don't know them at all? Last.fm is not a popularity contest.
---------------------------------
Fun fact: when I created my account in 2005, Rhapsody, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica had waaay below 100 000 listeners each. It's hard to believe now, I know... O.o
