Thanks, man! I needed to know that. :) The first time I was into FSOL one of the sites I tried to get credits from got it wrong and assigned the "Rachel's Song" sample to EITWIDSWM instead of My Kingdom, but I knew it had to be wrong because I never heard that kind of choir thing in Blade Runner, so... yeah. Thanks! :D

    Beefheart's 'Autumn's child', it's those theremin sounds.

"I used to really love it, probably listened to it every day for months some years ago. But over time my taste changed, and I am much more attracted by the dark ambience of SH1 and 2." I can see your point - it's the same for me with 2nd OST. Though I always found that in the 3rd installment Akira managed to perfectly balance both the "distorted/noisy" and "melodic" sides of Silent Hill.

Oh, I see that you're a big Atrox fan, my bad ;) In that case replace Atrox for Ensoph or Ram-Zet

Phlebotomized, Pan.Thy.Monium, or Ages Gone, all progressive Death-Metal bands, not always as fast-pased as Azure Emote I guess. If you're looking for something more industrial, you could try Atrox

Pulsefear only has one album-Perichoresis, Start with Pyrrhula for Nordvargr, you can't really go wrong with anything by Gruntsplatter so you can just pick out any album. Oophoi-Whispers From The Noisy Void, Kammarheit-The Starwheel, Also Dead Factory and Djinn don't have THAT many albums so just pick any random one.

" [Akira] simply stopped making good music after SH2, his highest peak being SH1 for me." You don't like the 3rd one even?

No problem at all, if you even get through all that stuff here's a net label with all of their releases up for free. There's hundreds of albums on there and it's all pretty top quality stuff. http://www.darkwinter.com/index1.html . But I already gave you quite a lot anyways ha.
