Mark-Cross

Mark Cross, the veteran power house drummer was born in London, England on August 2, father English and mother German. He grew up in a musical environment and started bashing the tubs at the age of 9.
Over the past 25 years he has been working with known international bands and artists, who gave him great reputation in the international music industry as a musician and drummer.

Bands in his roster such as legendary German Power metallers HELLOWEEN (2001 – 2002) and METALIUM (2000 – 2001), a production featuring Deep Purple’s frontman IAN GILLAN (1993), KINGDOM COME (2000) and British classic rockers SARACEN (2006) left a great mark in his career.

With FIREWIND, (member 2005 - 2010) he released 2 studio albums, 3 singles, a live CD and an in concert DVD so far.
With the release of "The Premonition" (Century Media 2008), the band toured extensively all over the world for the past three years. Late November 2008 Firewind released their long awaited first Live DVD “Live Premonition”.

In August 2009 Mark announced his new side project called “Outloud”, which might now be described as his main band along with band mate Bob Katsionis (Firewind) on Keyboards and lead guitar.
Outloud is a classic AOR American Hard rock sounding mix with catchy hooks and melody lines. Their first album and video clip had been released on August 28 in Europe, September 15 in North America and September 30th in Japan by Frontiers Records and gained positive feedback from the international press and radio play.

Over trhe past years Mark has also performed drum clinics for the SAE and various drum schools.
