About Me

NOTE: My Last.fm listening history is strictly only what I can listen to on the computer, unfortunately my MP3 player wasn't supported for the longest time & I've had no luck getting the new third-party plugin for it to work...

So, well, if you take a peek at my blog or MySpace profile, you probably get a pretty good idea of where I'm at musically... which is all over the place. <g> Top three are The Replacements, Hoodoo Gurus, and dig - many thousands more of all kinds of crazy behind those three. Music junkie indeed...

I'm pretty psychotic when it comes to spinning tunes... I might be listening to the 'Mats or the Gurus or Husker Du one day, Puddle of Mudd or Seether or Motley Crue the next, The Kinks or The Yardbirds or The Animals the next, Black Flag or Babes in Toyland or Iggy Pop the next, and, oh, The Monkees or the Bay City Rollers or Duran Duran the day after that. Yeah, I have musical multiple personality disorder... <g>

I ran the American sister website for Hoodoo Gurus guitarist Brad Shepherd's later band, The Monarchs, until they called it quits. I now manage the official MySpace profiles for The Monarchs, Fun Things, and Super K, and am working on putting new standalone websites up for The Monarchs and Fun Things.

Also been working with Scarce's Joyce Raskin trying to help get their 1995 album "Deadsexy" released from the clutches of their old record company (UPDATE: We did it!!), as well as some publicity for the band (which has recently re-formed) around the globe today. Check 'em out, you won't be sorry!

Another pet project of late has been pushing The Ride Ons from Australia, a fab band which features my buddy the legendary Muzz Shepherd the Human Drummer on the skins. Check 'em out too!

My two seconds of fame was being listed in the acknowledgements in Michael Azerrad's book, "This Band Could Be Your Life" (I contributed some very minor Replacements swag) - so there's my indie cred, and that and 50 cents might buy me a cup of coffee (or four bucks at Starbucks)... hehe.

Cannot even BELIEVE it took me so long to find this place as it did and thank goodness for Alice Bag's blog or I might not have - Last.fm is a total kick and I've loved hanging out here the last coupla years. Woot!
