What should be their next singles? (part 1)
22 Apr 2007, 20:35
Yes, artists sometimes make wrong single choices (Gwen Stefani's "Crash", Rihanna's "We Ride" and Justin Timberlake's upcoming "Summer Love" just to name a few...). They need professional advice before they definitive their next single choice. And we, not only the fans but also the rest who just happened to listen to the artist's album, are those professionals! So here are a couple of songs by some artist they should definetely release as a single!
- Ana Johnsson "Coming Out Strong" - Such a strong song! It would feel like "We Are" all over again, and maybe become even as succesful (or even more). If the label just promotes her outside Japan and Scandinavia...
- Anaís "Fue un Placer" - Just like the above song, it's such a strong song, if you just finish listening to it, you would feel the power of it! It's amazing!
- Beyoncé "Freakum Dress" - This song would ROCK THE CHARTS! With the video it has, it would be the second "Crazy in Love" on the charts! There's not much to say, just release it!
- Cherish "That Boi" - It begins introducing the girls and i thought why "Do It to It" was the first single... However "Do It to It" is DEF NOT a bad choice, this song would've been better to release first. The beat is so danceable, this'd be such a club banger! They should release it still!
- Ciara "That's Right" - Just like the former songs, this one is sooo danceable too! Uptempo beat, Ciara, some good moved in a video and Ciara's got her second Hot 100 #1!
- Fall Out Boy "Fame < Infamy" - This song just ROXX! That's all I can say, it ROCX! Please release this one after the memories end!
- Fergie "Clumsy" or "Here I Come" - The first one would be such a funny single choice and "Here I Come" is just another uptempo song that will make the Billboard Hot 100. Unfortunately, there's nothing left from The Dutchess that will make the #1 spot in the US that are not one of the singles.
- Hilary Duff "Outside of You" - This... track... freakin... ROCKS! After she releases "Stranger", this one or "Gypsy Woman" should definetely be a single! This song brings back the rocky side we got to know when we first heard Hilary and is such a scream-a-long song! I always do so when I hear it and predict thousands other would too if they heard it!
- JoJo "The Way You Do Me" - It would be good if people who attend the late night clubs hear her voice sometimes too, and with this song, they will! This is kinda the first uptempo song she recorded and people will do some serious bootyshakin' to this song! It'll be good if people know that she can record some fun/uptempo songs too (the only other fun single she released is "Baby It's You"). Get a good video for it and you'll have a hit in return
- Joss Stone "Put Your Hands on Me" - I don't know if this song is to be the second single from Introducing as "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now" is a possible second single too, but ever since I heard this song, I can't get this song out of my head! And I believe that's what the labels want, to have their artist's songs stuck in people's heads so they don't forget them.
- Katharine McPhee "Open Toes" - I can already picture Katharine in the video: kind of like Beyoncé's "Freakum Dress", but instead of constant change of dresses, Kat would be changing shoes all the time! This song would definitely be a hit under the girls and shoe company's would be PAYING her to show off their shoes in the video!
That's all for this time. Next time, it'll include the songs from L-Z! What do you think of these choices?
