Thanks Dylan :D same to you! Oh yes it was quite an amazing new years eve! We'll have to discuss the event later but I was definitely impressed with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs set, she's an amazing woman.

Dude I will be there at Rainbow. I have seen him twice. Incredible live. Whether you catch him there or at the club gig he will be amazing.

I'm definitely going. Theo Parrish will absolutely kill it.

Nah haven't heard yet, but I have a friend who may know. It should be a fantastic night in any case, haven't been to a Brown Alley shindig since Audion. Are you going to Danny Howells' One Night Only?

Yeah new addition to the library! They're pretty cool. Haha whoops, I hate when I do that but on their page it says that the song was also included on the Movements album. Also Joe hooked me up with some Converge so you might see a few plays this week!

Initial response is pretty positive, have only listened to it tonight. Caught the single, "Ambling Alp" on Rage a few times, the video is brilliant and had to check these guys out. It's very retro stuff, kind of reminds me of early 90s Pet Shop Boys stuff at times but with a decidedly modern sensibility. Need to give it more of a listen though. What do you think? Despite the leak, I will probably still buy this, this year has been a good one for psychedelic-pop (Animal Collective doing it FAR better than anyone else)

Yeah it takes a bit of skill to produce an organic sounding electronic album, that's why I love Boards of Canada. Their sound is so warm and fuzzy but alien in nature.

Oh the verdict is in, it's a great album and I will be giving it quite a few listens. :) I've never heard that Ricardo Villalobos album but I'll add it to my list. I'm not huge on Techno but there's some great stuff out there. Such a long weeeeek, looking forward to relaxation.

Yeah I haven't put a lot of thought into it yet but that sounds like a good idea! I could choose favourite Electro releases and that type of thing. IRM by Charlotte Gainsbourg leaked this week :) taking a listen tonight.
