http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjSOcoDJYQg&feature=related EMA is some new kind of genius. I have a long ways to go too with my love for music--it's just not a journey that my mortality allows me to complete, haha.

I gotta listen to his own bands sometime. His production catalog is amazing, some of the most influential records of the late 80s-90s.

They're probably the musically weakest link of grunge's big four but I still like them and I respect them for always hanging out with the underground scene(Meat Puppets, Earth, Melvins etc) and for promoting those bands. Probot is a really fun album and the guy worked with Killing Joke, Mike Watt, QotSA, Bowie, Iommi, Buzz Osborne and got the friggin Zeppelin to perform with his band. He's BFFs with every genius in the current music scene, amazing.

I think Nirvana is an ok Pixies-Melvins influenced band but Kurt's music taste is incredible and really varied. He's also a fan of Neil Young, Killing Joke, King Crimson, Celtic Frost, Flipper etc. I'm really liking the Vaselins from that list. He would've pwn our OMI scores for sure.
