My name is Jayne and I'm a rather boring half-Scottish/half-Chinese, English girl who is currently in her first year of studying Linguistics at university *sweatdrop*

My hobbies include reading, listening to music (lots and lots!), watching movies and playing video games. I'm currently playing WoW and FFIII and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales. I <3 videogames and embrace the geekyness it gives me!

I listen to a lot of Japanese music so my favourite artists include Utada Hikaru, Angela Aki, YUI, Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA and Mika Nakashima to name a few. I also listen to a bit of Chinese music and love Jolin Tsai, Faye Wong, Angela Chang and Fiona Sit. In Western artists my music taste is slightly different and I love alternative singers such as Tori Amos, Fiona Apple and Joanna Newsom and then country/folky/poppy acoustic artists like Jewel and Vanessa Carlton. But I also listen to lots of more mainstream music so... yeah ^_^;
