Here's the deal:

I have two tickets for the Me First And The Gimme Gimmes show December 15th at Slim's in San Francisco. I've been looking for someone to use the second half of the pair of tickets with no luck so far, so I figured I'd open it up to the Last.fm community-at-large.

If you're going to be in the San Francisco area on December 15th, respond here or drop me a PM letting me know why you'd make a good date, and a week before the show (that'd be December 8th, for the math-impaired like myself) I'll go through the responses -- assuming I get any -- and pick a winner based on some random criteria that I'll be totally making up as I go along.

Here's the fine print:

1. You should know that I'm in a relationship, and have been with the guy for quite some time. In the interest of not making the rest of my life miserable, this would be a date like December 15th is a date. I probably won't be making out with the winner, or making plans for what we'll be doing the rest of our lives. There will be no goodnight kiss at the date's end. Any pants involved will stay zipped. On the bright side, I won't be expecting flowers, and you won't have to introduce me to your parents.

2. The winner will receive one ticket for the show, and shouldn't expect anything beyond that, unless I'm feeling particularly generous that night. I can't provide a ride to or from the venue, and I won't buy you a T-shirt unless I really think you'd look cute in one.

3. I may ditch you if I suspect you may be a serial killer, smell really bad, or otherwise turn out to be challenging to be around. Vice-versa, or course, though I can assure you I've never killed anyone and I will be showering at least once the day of the show.

4. I reserve the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time. I'm allowed go back and edit them some time next summer if I feel like it.

Three days left... if I don't hear from you by then, I'm leaving without you. Got some great entries so far, but it wouldn't kill my ego to see a few more squeak in under the deadline.
