About Me
Hello to everyone! I'm a headbanger from Finland.
At the moment, I'm singer in a finnish death metal band called Siknis. I also have many own projects, which you can find from below.
You've maybe wondering already about my music taste. Well, it all began, when I first heard S Club 7. It was my favourite and only artist that I'd listen for a long time, simply because I didn't want to find any new music. It was the late 90's, I guess.
In 2002, one of my cousins said that I should listen Lordi. I really liked it, and I also listened some Nightwish back then. But still, I thought, that S Club 7 was the only thing for me.
In 2003 or something, I had this little era with hip hop (that explains why I still listen to it), when I listened artists/bands like Fintelligens & Don Johnson Big Band. Pretty soon after, in the same year, my good friend Matias forced me to listen Sonata Arctica. And then there was no coming back. When I watched some live videos of SA, I totally fell in love.
So, slowly I started to search for more and more music to listen (finally!), for example Cradle of Filth, Kotiteollisuus, Stratovarius, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more. Okay, for a year or two, I was so "true metallist", that I listened only metal, but slowly my music taste started to expand. And now, as you can see, I listen everything from grindcore to rap, from ambient to pop, and so on.

Some of my early influences include e.g. Eminem & Fintelligens, but later I've taken influences from many various artists, so it would be useless to start listing them.

I started with dance music.
Played guitar since 2004.
The reason I started playing guitar, was Jani Liimatainen (ex-Sonata Arctica). I saw few videos of him playing guitar, and I thought that if it really feels as good as Jani seems to enjoy it, then I should play too. Later, some of my influences have included e.g. Antti Hyyrynen, Kristian Ranta & Randy Rhoads. But before I began playing guitar, I broked my little finger from my left hand, so it's been hard to learn to play guitar properly.
Played keyboards since 2005.
Some of my first influences include e.g. Henrik Klingenberg & Jordan Rudess.
Played drums since 2006.
I guess I have no influence on drumming. I just started to play drums, so I could learn more about the rhythmic part of composing.
Singed (death grunt/screaming/whatever you call it :D) since 2006.
My early influences included e.g. Petri Lindroos & Dani Filth. Later I've taken influences from e.g. Chris Barnes, Angela Gossow & Antti Hyyrynen.
Singed (clear vocals) since 2007.
I first started singing clear vocals, mainly influenced by Tony Kakko & Ville Valo. But afterwards, I've taken influences from e.g. Samuli Putro, Jouni Hynynen, Hector, Marco Hietala, Jonas Renkse and many many more.
Started really to create music in 2007.
What I mean with this one? Well, basically, it's the era after I got better equipment for recording, and learned some basics about studio work.

Played drums with double pedals since 2008.
Same reason as earlier, just to learn more about the rhythmic part of composing.
