MAN!!! I bought a ticket to a Metallica concert yesterday! >8D Can't wait to see 'em live again. This time around they'll play the whole Black album! I would have preferred to see rather RtL, MoP or ...AJfA live but the Black album is just fine too. Oh man, oh man, oh man... I'm so excited right now. >8) In addition Slayer is coming to my hometown a week and a half after Metallica's gig! It's going to be a pretty heavy June for me!

Oh, totally forgot to mention this. I listened to the Mare Infinitum album. It was a killer! I love the atmosphere on that record. Can't wait to hear more from them. 8)

Oh wow, that's a splendid way to spend the new year's eve. :) A massive hangover from four days of drinking doesn't sound the best way to start a new year in my opinion. ;P The two other samplers featured also a few bands I'll have to check out: The Sullen Route, Kamlath and Reido. Once again, thanks for those samplers. :) There can never be too many good bands. I just tried to google Perversion. For some magical reason none of the search results seem to be indicating to the band! :( I'll have to give them too a chance on a better time. If two bands out of eight turned out to be really good, the overall income is not that bad. :) It's a shame that there are no upcoming interesting gigs here, or at least interesting gigs that I could afford.

Damn this Comatose Vigil sounds good on the Solitude Productions -sampler! It's a big shame that their songs often appear to be way too lengthy. Nevertheless I guess I'll have to give them a chance. So far Mare Infinitum has sounded promising as well. I'll have to give them another chance as well. Thanks for the tip on these samplers! :)

Haha, I guess that's true. I've been listening to some bands I haven't listened to in a long time, or as in HIM's case, never. Well, at least you're back to normal again. However it's a shame that you lost your vacation in such a way. :( I thought that Azaghal, Horna and Behexen would be much more kind of raw black metal if you compare them to MKL. Nevertheless those appear to be in the top league of Finnish bm bands and from what I recall they're not as raw as many others are. However it's unfortunate if they're too far from MKL's style. :< I've never before actually thought that Without Ceremony and Bell Toll sounds like Dimmu Borgir, but you appear to be right. It does sound like DB more or less if you think of it. And yes, I received that e-mail of yours. :) Thank you. Already downloaded the first sampler, haven't had the time to check it out yet though. Since I'm so late with this reply I hope you too had a merry Christmas and that you will have even better new year. *<8)

That's a shame. :( It's interesting how we always tend to get sick when some kind of a holiday begins. Can't you get your lost vacation days back anyhow? At least in my last job I could have delayed my vacation because I was sick when it began. Hopefully you'll get better soon enough so that you don't waste your whole vacation sick. :( Hmmm.. Some of their English songs sound funny. I'm not a specialist on such black metal as Azaghal. The first thing that comes to my mind right now is Horna, but I don't know if it's anything like what you're searching for. I noticed it appears first on Azaghal's similar artists so it could be somewhere near what you're looking for. You could also check out Behexen. I don't know whether it's anything like you're looking for either but at least it's in a cult status in Finland.

Yo. I found another Finnish black metal band that in some people's opinion sounds like MKL. I'd say it sounds like the early recordings if even those. Anyway, didn't see it in your top artists so I thought I'd mention about it to you. The band is Darkwoods My Betrothed. You can check them out at least on youtube, for example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGnqwiZn_4U. That is a good song in my opinion, though I'm not sure how much that has to do with MKL.
