you to listen to it more and more, listen to other cd's and better, you will become addicted, with your music taste i think you will surpasse that thinking of "all the same"

A perfect circle create a brand new world around me every time I listen to them. Seriously, it's like I fell into a reeeally soft, weird mood when I get into their songs. Hahaha, I'm not going insane, just wanted to share with you my stupid lil' experience with the band as you enjoy listening to their stuff as much as I do. Yeah, I know, I'm odd xD. Hey, btw, I read your last comment, and you couldn't have chosen a better option to start with. Neutral Milk hotel are another world appart inside this whole universe that is music (notice how metaphysical I'm today, haha). We always listen to huge bands before getting into other less known things. I really have no time to upload anything now (Uni + work = death) but I'll try to upload some of their stuff as soon as I can. It's nearly 3 am... I'm off to sleep NOW xD. Oh, just one more thing! I've heard Slipknot's coming to Barcelona (where I am from) with Mechine head and Children of Bodom. Bfff... this is going to be CRAZY. Cheers!!!

About Me

Hey my name is Matt. I'm from St. Louis, MO but am in the Navy now, and am currently living in Annapolis, MD. I get out of the Navy in August of 2009 and plan to move to either Chicago or back to St. Louis after I'm done.

I love music, all kinds really, I can listen to it for hours on end.

Music is my favorite form of entertainment, and I don't think I could function without it. I have no instrumental talents that I know of, mostly being that I've never really picked up an instrument with any intention to really play it. But still I feel this deep passion for music, and find it to be one of the true constant joys this world has to offer.

Music is what gets me through my bad times, and amplifies my good times. One song can make all the difference in the world depending on the place, time and mood.

My favorite genre of music is rock. Any sort of rock will do. I'll listen to anything from Classic Rock to Death Metal. Anything from Aerosmith to Slayer. I really have no huge biases when it comes to music. Of course I have my preferences, but I'm sure as hell am not shallow, and try to praise one sub genre of music as it is the only genre of music worth listening to like a lot of people on this website. In fact I feel sorry for the people who limit themselves to only a certain type of music. Open up your mind and expand for Christ sake.

As you can see by my charts I mostly listen to metal. Metallica is probably my favorite band of all time, even though I only thoroughly enjoy 5 out of their 10 studio albums. Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning can only be described as masterpieces in my opinion.

I am sorely disappointed in Metallica looking at what they turned into after the Black Album (which some people view as the album where they sold out, but I think it was their last great one.) Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a handful of songs from Load, ReLoad, Garage Inc., St. Anger, and Death Magnetic, but nothing... and I mean not one single song compares to any of those on Kill Em' All - The Black Album.

Well that's all for now. If you'd like to know more, you can always ask.
