now at 12th grade I study what I am interested in, so I willingly put my energy in it. Economy is not exactly in relationship with my anti-mainstreamism, but I just looked up the definition of subculture on wiki and our freud-ish thesis is not exactly true in my case. "It may be difficult to identify certain subcultures because their style (particularly clothing and music) may be adopted by mass culture for commercial purposes." So making a culture mainstream to get more $ makes (people that are not really interested in that culture or really belonging to that culture) it untrue.
