RE: Dead Weather: I like it, but it's no White Stripes or even Raconteurs. A little different, since the girl from The Kills sings most of it. It's bluesy and raw, probably the most "garage-y" thing Jack has done since early White Stripes. Overall, I'd recommend it but try out some samples first to be sure.

Hi! You mean on their next tour? I guess once or twice, they're supporting for Unheilig which is definitely not my fav, but it's near so that helps a lot :-) No plans for US-dates as far as I know... must admit I'm not quite uptodate with 'em since the new label. How's life on that side of the ocean?

Grrrr! As I was listening I thought "I hope Amanda doesn't music stalk me and see the OMD all over the place again" :) Er, yeah. I actually find them oddly uplifting! And in a way that you don't need to listen to, either.
