I finally decided to give it a listen. I really like it. Especially his solo stuff.

It's actually pretty good. A major step up from their last two efforts. Of course, I wouldn't put it up next to Jester's Race, or Whoracle. But compared to what they've done since Soundtrack, it's a good album.

You're listening to Mumford and Sons? They're really good, I've been really impressed by what I've heard by them.

I did, thank you very much. I had a chance to check out a few of the bands but not that many. I really liked what I heard though.

Their 'What We Must' album is quite unique, even compared to their other stuff. Thing is, no one really combines post-rock with nu jazz. However, there are quite a few very good artists signed to Ninja Tune that share the same quirky, jazzy sound as JJ: Skalpel, The Cinematic Orchestra, Bonobo, Amon Tobin, Funki Porcini, DJ Krush. Different label but still interesting: Xploding Plastix and Quantic.

Sure have been! Last.fm isn't scrobbling it for some reason though. Weird.
