I hope to make the Fuck Buttons gig (though I have to get my ticket afterwards - it wont sell out will it?), it'll be my first Deaf Ins gig, and the first birthday seems quite fitting. Bestival soon, eee. I went to a place called Subspace today (heard of it?). It was strange, I felt like I was dancing to an entirely different tune to everyone else. I wasn't drunk, maybe that's what did it. Plus I did some more exploring today: Manchester Fort Shopping Park. What a lifeless place. Good weekend?

What are Grouper like? Gosh it's really cool that the Nexus do gigs. I went there today as I was going Bestival shopping for essentials, such as a cropped sleeve sweatshirt with three cats on it and a lilo. I am glad you had a weekend, although it sounds like it was ridiculous. trance indeed. The Answering Machine were very very good, chirpy, crisp sound, catchy tunes. I swear I have seen them before, but it was a long time ago. You should try to catch them! I didn't much rate Liam Frost. The party I went to was good! Lots and lots of cake and wine and live cricket in the field next door, plus lots of engaging conversation which is always nice. Though my comments about Oasis (which were much like yours) went down like a lead covered A-Bomb. I think I was close to being lynched at one point. But apparently there actually were people throwing their golden best though the crowds at that gig, so good call!

you'll like the nexus i think, really cool, kooky place with a varied interior, not that that will have any effect on the performance but it's nice to think about. sorry to hear about your friend's taste (or lack thereof). I was spoiled back down south by having a plethora of mates with a decent taste, and here there is not many, which sucks, but is probably good for my bank balance. you should really review music again! interviews were the only thing i could do relatively well - double act perhaps! please tell me what happened with your Rolo Tomassi experience! how was your bank holiday in the lake district? i went to see liam frost and the answering machine at spinningfields which was cool, and went to that party with my french comerades, and some friends came to visit and we got horrendous. it was quite fun, but i am explicably exhausted. have you got any gigs lined up soon? p.s. oasis split up, thoughts?
