Current Avatar: The STONE ROSES - SALLY CINNAMON 12" on FM Revolver. This, their second single and the last before signing to Silvertone was the first to feature the "classic" Stone Roses sound. It didnt appear on any studio album, but selected lyrics of the song are featured on a banner hung at the Stretford End of Old Trafford (Manchester Uniteds stadium). Released in 1987 it pre-dates Mani's involvement with the band and the "Sally" referred to is thought to be a "first date" and also later re-incarnated as the Sally in the Oasis single "Dont Look Back In Anger". Fact or Fiction?
