nice call on SND. Have you heard anything by Ryoji Ikeda. If you liked Atavism, he'd be right up your alley.

I'm really enjoying the new Polvo. It's still all about stop/start dissonance, but they've spent a bit more cash on production which gives them a new sound at the same time. I'm struggling to pull together a blog post on it at the moment!

i saw Black Dice a couple weeks ago, amazing show. They're much more of a noise band when they were playing live.

Ya it's one of my favorites, my other favorite Merzbow album is Door Open at 8 AM. He actually does a Coltrane cover on it that is terrific.

Picked up a copy of Merzbow's Zophrus over the weekend. Pretty good, reminds me of Merzbear. Plenty more of his stuff on the Blossoming Noise site

I really like Maschinenstil because he uses such a varied assortment of sounds compared to the other albums I've heard so far. I also like that he plays with dynamics more (shit, I'm talking in musical rather than noise terms!). I haven't got a copy of Amulux? Love the cover for that one though. Have you heard any Richard Ramirez, or Burial Hex? You might dig those guys.
