Second 8th Week Ministries :( - Part 7 - More reactions

5 Jul 2008, 20:34

My friends and I on MySpace were talking about JoAnne Cremer for a while, discussing what we saw as false teachings. One of my friends asked JoAnne Cremer for her teaching on the Trinity. (This friend had been on her friend list...but once my friend asked that question, JoAnne deleted her. - And then once I read some other sites that exposed Second 8th week ministries, I saw that they DIDN'T teach the Trinity, and that they didn't believe in it. That is the background for this comment:

Now we know why she wouldn't talk about the Trinity or the Holy Spirit....she doesn't believe in either, in reality....just as I suspected, they put the creeds and stated the doctrine of the trinity in order to appear orthodox.

There are other websites that expose 2nd 8th week...:
http://mosaicministries.homestead.com/
http://evangelizeamerica.org/apologetics/false%20teachers/apostle_eric.htm
http://www.cultwatch.com/saseries.html

In response to another friends comment:
Maria,
Thanks for posting....I agree with you on this one. Whatever spirit she is listening to is not the Holy Spirit. 2nd 8th Week Ministries is heavily into the occult. They rely on "angels." These angels are obviously not God's angels....they must be demons. She must be getting her teachings from demons!

To say that God's laws are evil shows that the person is opposing God....saying that there is nothing wrong with fornication even goes against the New Testament.

I think that those verses from Revelation aren't just talking about a physical fornication, this is part of it, but it's a spritiual fornication. I say this because this is what God means when He talks about fornication in other places in the Bible....like in the OT when He calls turning to other gods fornication. She preaches spiritual fornication when she tells people to rely on angels instead of God.

Physical fornication is a sin, and is bad. Spiritual fornication is worse. This woman teaches both kinds of fornication.

In response to yet another friend:
LQQKing Up,

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately there is a lot of junk in the church today that people are trying to bring in. For example, in class this week several individuals in class were talking about how at Christian events they (those in my class, some of whom are pastors) were teaching people Yoga and Eastern stuff, as well as guided imagery.

People don't think twice about it. They assume that since it's spiritual, it's good....either that or they think we're all going the same place, no matter what religion. Someone else in class this week said that everyone's already saved...people in all religions. This removes any standards that God has. (Of course that also means that they don't see any need for Jesus or the gospel message...that in effect what they are saying when they claim that everyone's saved.)

Several other people...one in class and a couple people at the church I grew up in have talked about reincarnation.

My friend Maria wrote:
Yes, Melissa, this was exactly what my impression was when I heard her teaching---all "head" stuff and no fresh manna from heaven---not la fresh word from the throne room. Just all this intellecualism, and high lofty words that are exactly as you described it "fluff."

No real meat or substance, just all these lofty words that make it sound intelligent but it is very empty and vain.

She uses a lot of strange terminology that is not found in the Bible. She does not use terms that are familiar with God's prophetic divine language.

It is "strange" fire and "foreign" from another spirit, another Jesus.

What really did it for me is when she called the Law of Moses "wicked"

I sent her this verse, and showed her that Paul called the Law Holy:

Romans 7:12
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Her response was, that the word "is" in this verse was added in by the translators.....LOL!

So what does that mean? I wrote back and showed her how the verse reads without the word "is" and the meaning is the same:

Romans 7:12
Wherefore the law holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Paul never said that the Law was done away with. He taught that the law was not able to make us righteous because we are only made righteous by faith. Yet the law is never to be disobeyed just because we are under Grace. Infact. Grace is our teacher and Grace teaches us to keep the Law.

This is what Paul the Apostle called the "Mystery of Lawlessness" in 2nd Thessalonians. It is the spirit of antichrist.

Maria,

This is exactly how these "Apostles" in the cult work. They have some sort of weird cult language, all these terms that they use. If you read the conquering love website, they actually send notecards for their students to memorize these lofty, fluffy, meaningless phrases. They are supposed to repeat the phrases over and over again. They all end up talking the same...this is why if you read what Guy wrote before he removed his second profile he sounded just like Apostle JoAnne.

(The above paragraph is in refrence to your comment about the strange terminology).

I agree with everything that you said about this :)

In response to another friend:
Darryl,

So do I...that's why I wrote this blog and warned people about her and her cult.

Not only is she telling people that they must be led by man (an Apostle from the cult), but she is also telling people to rely on angels. These angels that she is referring to are really demons. That is the most dangerous part of the cult. They are leading people into deep spiritual darkness.

Thanks for commenting, and for sharing your website. :)

Melissa

Here's another profile of someone involved in 2nd 8th week ministries....watch out for her. She doesn't call herself an Apostle or Prophetess. Her name is Sheila. Here's her profile:

To Anyone who is Considering being part of 2nd 8th week ministries,

I've been thinking...Paul was a true apostle of Christ. JoAnne claims to be an Apostle too. Who or what does she make much of? Does she make much of Christ as her one and only consuming passion, as Paul did? Does she point to Christ and strive to magnify Him in all that she does? Or does she strive to magnify her ministry, the second 8th week university teaching, and her own work? Does she magnify herself and how great she is, or how great Christ is?

I see in all her posts, bulletins, website, and lectures that she is trying to magnify herself and not Christ.

In response to another friend:
Lucia,

I think the cult is a business! She's trying to pull people into her demonic teachings....but she is acting like a business woman....I believe that your impression of her and her ministry is correct.

There have to be hidden agendas. They have to get money somehow....

Yes, the victims need to be prayed for.

Yes, we can pray for the apostles and those invovled....but if they choose to reject the real Jesus and continue to preach a false one....many more will be deceived.

This is what "Apsotle" JoAnne Cremer wrote in here blog:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=144500585&blogID=291107591&Mytoken=465C5649-A863-4B94-85DEDDDD2AEB844028309082

"Without a true education to Christ from the apostles' office, believers walk by what is instinctual to their conscience and the rhythm and record of the soul. Because the Spirit will not bear witness to that type of expression of faith the believer is left to the principle of the conscience and the power of the flesh, wherein there is no power for regeneration, renewing of the mind and the soul cannot enter into rest. It then must be busy with something, so it becomes busy with the "precept" of scripture, trying to break open the Mystery of Christ by stringing scriptures together, entwining the covenants, and extrapolating princples that will justify self and assuage the voice of condemnation. This is a misrepresentation of Jesus Christ, the plan of redemption and the gospel of truth that comes from the Headship of Christ through the Apostles' Office. "

My reaction:
What is this supposed to mean? I understand that she's saying "without an education from me or another "Apostle", you're lost and cannot understand the Bible, and therefore we are not really saved, and we are slaves to our sinful nature. The Holy Spirit cannot help you live in obedience. Christ didn't pay the price for our sins for us. You don't just beleive in His name and in His blood shed for you on the cross, and in His bodily ressurrection...you don't believe on Him and confess Him to get saved. You have to go through an "Apostle" and get "accredited" education from the false university. Oh yeah, that's right....and grace isn't umerited favor. It's not a free gift. Oh and the gospel message isn't about the cross or Christ. Jesus' blood means nothing, because our 2nd 8th week ministries teach a false gospel message and a false Jesus." I have no idea what the rest of her paragraph means.

JoAnne has a new profile, and on it she is speading audios of her teachings. :(
http://www.myspace.com/apostlejoannecremer

She also seems to be looking at certain people's friends list and trying to add them as friends.

A bulletin message that one of my friends posted
And so the Second 8th week minstries cult continues :(

More and more people will be led astray and into false teachings under the premise of learning more about Jesus Christ. More people will be told to rely on angels instead of God.

All I can say is this:
http://www.conqueringlove.com

Second 8th week ministries is a cult. If you take lessons from her, you will be opening yourself up to spiritual danger.

To my fellow Christians, WE DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT OURSELVES TO ANY APOSTLE, all we have to do is submit ourselves to God.

The Holy Spirit brings the real truth. We do not need to take lessons from any online university in order to understand the gospel.

What "original gospel" is JoAnne Cremer talking about? It must be a false gospel because the New Testament authors give a pretty good explanation of what it is, especially Paul. Read the book of Romans if you want to know what the real gospel is.

As always, it is the Holy Spirit who equips me.....not some education that I receive from any online university.

Dear Myspace friends,

Just a quick note to again let you know I have not disappeared but am diligently working on building a new apostolic Internet Distance Learning International Ministry School and will be offering the best New Covenant education to believers and Christian Leadership. The first school will hold 200,000 students and we have plans to translate the lessons into 14 languages.

I have nearly finished building a Foundation Series for the basic "Doctrine of Jesus Christ" plus automated quizzes, with on the spot feedback and full database student support. I have so many rich workshops available for each of the 12 elements of the gospel, plus beginning and advanced training for discernment, prophecy, stewardship of grace, and many other aspects of our priesthood and 5 callings to government. Each student will have a "real" virtual classroom from the very beginning, with all their lessons, quizzes, vocab glossaries, dream symbols glossary, MP3 audio lectures, Flash Presentations, videos, news forums, chat rooms, fellowship board, live assembly room, all there for them to use. I will have the first phase launched probably within a week or so, so stayed tuned!! This is all in keeping with the Church's 30 year prayer for the restoration "of all things." Amen... The apostles of Jesus Christ are indeed returning the Church to her "first love." "The Great Transition" of the Church back to the original gospel of the New Covenant. Amen.

As always, there will never be a charge to equip you to experience the fullness of Christ throught the Believer's Priesthood or to train you for your calling to the Government of Jesus Christ.

Please keep me in prayer for all these things. I welcome your comments or pre-enrollments.

The URL is not available yet on the internet but I will be publicizing this as soon as things are ready to launch.

May God's blessings of peace be upon you.

In Christ,
Apostle JoAnne Cremer

One of my friends objected to my calling second 8th week a cult....so this was my reaction:
um yes.....Second 8th Week Ministries is a cult.

1.) They have another definition of grace
2.) They preach another gospel
3.) They teach something called a 3rd covenant, which they say is that when a person dies, they go back into god and become gods
4.) They teach people to rely on angels instead of on God
5.) They teach that a person can only understand the gospel if they have a 2nd 8th week apostle over them
6.) In their teachings, they deny the Trinity
7.) They teach that a person must be able to speak in tongues
8.) They preach another Jesus and another gospel
9.) they use the book of Enoch to support their false teachings
10.) They teach that in order for someone to have an accredited education, they must go through Second 8th Week ministries university and take lessons from an apostle.

Where in the Bible does Scripture support any of the above things?

You think that people's spiritual life is a small matter? I have already had one good friend on MySpace caught up in Second 8th Week Ministries. I don't want to see another one (you) be deceived by it either.

I'm completely serious.

I am not simply bashing JoAnne Cremer. I am disagreeing with what Second 8th week teaches. They get people to rely on angels (demons) instead of on God. They teach something called a third covenant - which they say is that when people die, they go back into "God" and become gods.

We are living in the end times. There are false teachers and false prophets and false apostles all over the place. Second 8th week ministries is false, and the stuff that they teach is very dangerous, spiiritually. I'm not making this up.

I have gotten into a debate with JoAnne Cremer. I have read her blogs. I have listened to some of her sermons. I have also read the couple's testimony at http://wwww.conqueringlove.com

Second 8th week ministries is not something that should be taken lightly. It is seriously dangerous stuff.

You are dismissing my arguments because I'm female, and you see this whole thing as a woman bashing another woman. Sigh....

False teachings are serious issues because they lead people astray, and lead people away from God!!! It is because I love Jesus Christ that I warn people about Second 8th Week Ministries. They are preaching another gospel and another Jesus.
