Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to music almost every day, sometimes for several hours. It gets me out of my busy head and into an easier space to think and feel. The listen count here just reflects what I've listened to on my computer; most of the time I'm listening on my antiquated ipod, in my car during my mind-numbing commute, or some other way that doesn't scrobble. My count since 2004 is probably more in the neighborhood of x10, I guess.
I also love music for the simple fact that it's something we can all share and enjoy together. There's no politic or nationality or some other thing that doesn't truly matter at the end of the day. It's just us and the music. Everybody connects on some level no matter what it is.
I accept friend requests if you say something to me first. I'm a real person, so feel free to leave a shout about music, the weather, the price of gas, anything. Or just say hi. No biggie, right? :)
