In response to your comment left on Hybrid's wall, Hybrid typically hires an orchestra, or at least a string symphony for their music, they don't steal it. It is a staple of their style, as found throughout Wide Angle, I choose Noise, and Disappear here. Check out more of their albums if you like the fusion of Symphony and breaks/trance/electronica.

About Me

If you are a subscriber, feel free to listen to my trance playlist. A Second playlist is under development since the 2nd of May, 2009. This one contains some classic rock & pop tunes. Mainly new wave stuff from the eighties but also some good oldies from the sixties and seventies. Other playlists will come when I'm bored someday.

I listen to many musicgenres to explore my own music taste. Music may touch me emotionally. Whether a particular song makes me happy / crying / anxious or relaxing, I like it. If it doesn't, it sounds like crap for me.

Further I don't listen to lyrics in the first place. Catchy melodies and well composed songs impress me.

You may ask yourself: "Well, how did I get here?"

Well, it started when I was 14 in 2002. I was getting more into popular music those days. I even started to make an own hitlist, a monthly top 20 of my favourite songs. I can remember that the first hit on the number #1 spot in my own chart was Jennifer Lopez ft. Ja Rule - I'm Real (2001), in the spring of 2002. The second place was for DJ Sammy & Yanou ft. Do - Heaven (2001). That time I listened to the XFM radio station almost every day. XFM is a dance/trance radio station with literally non-stop dance. It still exists and has expanded. Now it's also filled up with commercials, news facts and traffic jam reports; how regretful! ... (to be continued)
