Video Game Metal (not to be confused with Nintendocore) is simply the soundtracks to video-games remixed/covered by artists playing them in a heavy metal style. The actual style of metal ranges and can vary from one extreme to another, but the most common interpretations take a power metal or thrash metal approach.
