Thrashcore is a fast tempo subgenre of hardcore punk that emerged in the early 1980s. Often confused with crossover thrash and sometimes thrash metal influenced metalcore bands. Thrashcore and Crossover are not the same. People incorrectly tag crossover bands as thrashcore. Thrashcore is just sped-up hardcore punk. Crossover is thrash metal crossed with certain elements of hardcore punk.

D.R.I. were one of the most popular thrashcore bands (who coincidentally later when on to crossover thrash) and they're not even in the top artists! The closest you'll get to thrashcore on this page is Municipal Waste.
