Symphonic death metal

Symphonic death metal is a term used to describe death metal music that has symphonic elements; that is, elements that sound similar to a classical symphony.     I don't agree with the description of this subsubgenre. I feel this should be a counterpart to symphonic black metal: that is, death metal that uses keys to boost atmosphere. Not necessarily a whole symphony thing going on. Also lol Epica.
