About the subsubsubgenres.. I guess sometimes it's more descriptive, don't you think? I mean, "symphonic black metal" does mean something, and IMHO it does tell a diffference between this and, e.g., "extreme dark viking black metal" ;) I think people in general love to label stuff and why remove this pleasure?
