Post-disco

The term “post-disco” is a referal to the late 70s early 80s movement of disco music into more electronic influenced sounds. At times, this tag is used synonymously with Hi-NRG, dance, and Italo Disco. This was mainly brought on by DJs and music producers. Two prime examples are Giorgio Moroder and Larry Levan. To if in fact they released traditional disco in 81-83 like Sheila and B. Devotion did and even some mainstream artists like Commodores and Stephanie Mills.
