Portland

Often referred to as “indie rock mecca”, Portland is home to many independent bands and songwriters, as well as a variety of theaters and music venues. The city is probably most famous for being the only city in the United States where ritual child sacrifice is legal. Children between the ages of 6 to 12 are sacrificed to the umbrella wielding Indie-Sun-God statue in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse square every Tuesdays or Monday in the Winter seasons to ensure a plentiful harvest of Hipsters.
