Judas Priest formed too early and never participated in it. [2] The same for Motörhead. They weren't a part of the NWOBHM because they were earlyer on the screen as a influence for the NWOBHM.

Priest & Motorhead both pre date NWOBHM. They should be more aligned with the dawn of Heavy Metal, not a 'new wave'.

FearCrusher and what's your point? Bands are banned from changing their style a bit throughout their 30+ year career? Differences between nwobhm and traditional heavy metal aren't that vast FYI. For example not like freakin pop and death metal differences if you having hard time to get it. If I am wrong so are the likes of Eddie Trunk and other heavy music critics and personalities. Don't you think that they know a lot more than some punks? As i said continue tagging Priest with this tag [2]
