Nu metal is crap if you think of mainstream bands. Linkin Park, (new) KoRn, Disturbed... it means only shit to me. Maybe only well-known nu-metal band that I like (or even love) is Deftones. I prefer underground music.

The deathcore crap we have now is a lot worse, and the only bands from the genre that don't suck complete balls are Whitechapel and Despised Icon. Bands like Suicide Silence and Bring me the Horizon are even worse than Linkin Park, and that's no small feat.
