    Leftfield generally means something out of the ordinary, which quite a lot of these artists are. A lot of people find it hard to tag artists with actual genres, so instead, they tag the artist with the artist name eg. Leftfield tagged with.

    beatsdigital (a mp3 store) uses "Leftfield and Chill" as a genre name. With subgenres Acid jazz, Ambient, Bossa, Downtempo, Ethno, Experimental / Glitch, General Electronica, IDM, Nu jazz, Trip Hop I don't get it. It probably means just that, shit that sounds like leftfield.
