Aswell as glam rock bands of the 70´s,if you don´t see the glam influence in their music,you dont listen to them,glam rock of the 70´s actually rocks so it´s not an offense,also,Motley Crue (a glam band) have punk rock influences and covers. The point of my argument is that hard rock is not a genre with a certain sound,because some bands of the list are hard rock but very different.

Guns n roses have glam influence in their music,with glam i am talking about glam rock of the 70,not the 80´s stuff like Poison It´s obvious that they were very influenced by bands like New york dollsHanoi Rocks,Rose tattoo,with a mix of punk rock influence,they don´t remind me to say,deep purple,at all.I am not saying that they are glam,just that all the bands listed in the hard rock genre,have a different sound and different influences. Hard rock as a genre,doesn´t really exist,because it doesn´t have a strict core sound,for example,AC/DC are really different to Deep Purple.
