Gothic Metal: Gothic metal (also called Goth Metal) is a subgenre of heavy metal music. It is characterised as a combination of the dark and often melancholy atmospheres of doom metal with the aggression of the extreme metal subgenres, placing heavy emphasis on a beauty and the beast vocal style.
