Gangsta rap

Gangsta rap is a sub-genre of hip hop that reflects the violent lifestyles of some inner-city youths. “Gangsta” is a corruption of the word gangster. The genre was pioneered around 1983 by Ice-T with songs like Cold Wind Madness and Body Rock/Killers, and was popularized by groups like N.W.A in the late 80s. I really like hip-hop/rap, but I never have liked Gangster Rap. I like 50 cent a little, but when ever I listen to one of his old albums, I feel like I am going to get my house shot up , all the violence. . .

why is it that most gangsta rappers glamorize money, women, prostitution and violence? As if they were a type of god or something..To me that's just as evil as any satanic black metal group..
