Future fusion metal is a term created by musicians in band Mnemic. People and journalists described their sound like a crossover of thrash riffs with odd timings with some components of industrial metal all fused with harsh/choke’n’puke vocals and with clean vocals on refrains. I like the hyper-specific genres. It helps people find new bands. As long they aren't taken too seriously I see nothing wrong with it. [2] even if I prefer call it "tags", not "genres", since this types of metal don't exist, but they're really helpful to find specific suggestions for what you like.

There is no such thing as future fusion metal. What the fuck has happened to the genres in metal? Every band got its own.
