    @Zombiproof Incubus played this style on Fungus Amongus and SCIENCE (e.g. A Certain Shade of Green). RHCP were classified with this style during their Mother's Milk time more than twenty years ago. If you don't see how some of the bands fit, you should listen to Infectious Grooves. In my opion th term Funk Metal fits 1000% for this band.

    Cant really see how some of these bands are funk metal I mean "Incubus" FFS there just a bunch of whiney pop rock bitches haha.... Would NOT class RHCP as metal the only one I can see here that would remotley fit is Faith No More (FUCKING EPIC BAND THOUGH) and can't really comment on the others as I aint heard em

    Why are people saying this genre doesn't exist? it's just a small Genre, that's all. Unfortunately, most good funk metal was swallowed up by Nu Metal during the late '90s. i prefer bands that are funk metal, without being Nu Metal, and that's most of the bands listed here.
