Desert Rock

Desert Rock is not identical to Stoner Rock but there is much overlap. Desert Rock has more of an expansive and windswept sound, using acoustic instruments or heavy and slow wah-wah to achieve these effects and can have more emphasis on extended soloing or subdued trance-like passages than repetitive full-on grooves.
