Dethrock i Goth rock life - it's okay, studio versions of songs - no. Studio albums are dull, boring background music and mostly weak vocals. Gothic metal - certainly a popular "Gothic" metal isn't gothic. Gothic metal is the music of Blackthorn (RUS) or Ava Inferi (doom-gothic). Neoclassical darkwave or dark ambient is the most Gothic, death or black metal it is metal, not Gothic. Gothic can be optionally exaggerated styling. True gothic is only silent, the rest of the "true" Gothic is hypocrisy authors these words, even the most gothic Gothic isn't entirely gothic, this is impossible.
