The movie "Wildstyle" from 1982??? Rap originated from 70s funk. You could find this vintage oldschool-style in general until 1983/1984. Then, more synthetic and "colder" beats came up. "It's like that" (1983) by Run-D.M.C. had this new style, away from the disco sound.
