btw im sorry i did find black rebel motorcycle club to this genre but as i mentioned hardrock to this, then it would not be impossible to aslo mention queens of the stone age to garage rock but that is just my opinion.

well, in my view there are some bands that not are included to "garage rock" for example we have modern bands like jet and black rebel motorcycle club that not are a part of that genre. Then we have the 60s were we can find early punk bands as the ramones (good band), but 70s punk band like the clash can not be included beacuse for their diffrent way of punky-style they played not to mention that they use other texts insted of having texts that are about a party or a pretty girl. I would also (in my opinion) say that some hardrock bands could be included to this genre then i mean bands like foo fighters the grunge had it's orgin in early garage rock (well acording to wikipedia that sometimes can be right).
