Gabber

Gabber (IPA pronunciation: English /gæ.bər/, Dutch /xɑbər/), gabba or hardcore, is a style of electronic music and a subgenre of hardcore techno. The essence of the gabber sound is a distorted kick sound, overdriven to the point where it becomes clipped into a distorted square wave and makes a recognizably melodic tone. Actually, since we are getting on the record here, there are tons of hippies who are into psytrance and dark psy and wear lots of black instead of thai-dye (sure enough they still got dreads and only shower when in right mood for that) but only 5% of that dark variety (about 1% of all hippies) will tolerate gabber.
